Why should I discuss the Path2College 529 Plan with my clients?
As a trusted advisor, your clients count on you for solid financial advice. After saving for retirement, planning for a child's college education is the next big financial challenge for many of your clients. The Path2College 529 Plan offers your clients a low-cost, tax-advantaged way to save for college. In addition, your clients may be eligible for a Georgia state tax deduction. The Path2College 529 Plan also offers estate and gift tax benefits.

What are the investment options?
The Path2College 529 Plan offers a choice of seven investment options: Managed Allocation Option, Aggressive Managed Allocation Option, 100% Equity Option, Balanced Fund Option, 100% Fixed Income OptionMoney Market Option,and the Guaranteed Option. Effective March 10, 2008, transfers from the Guaranteed Option to the Money Market Option will not be permitted. (If this restriction changes, investors will be notified prior to the effective date of any such change.)

The Path2College 529 Plan is offered by the State of Georgia. TIAA-CREF Tuition Financing, Inc. (TFI) serves as Program Manager. TFI's affiliates, Teachers Personal Investors Services, Inc. (TPIS) and TIAA-CREF Individual & Institutional Services, LLC, member FINRA, distribute the Path2College 529 Plan.
